Pippa Leigh
Pippa Leigh grew up on the Canadian prairies, where she spent most of her childhood around horses and the rest of it reading — comedy, classic romance, fantasy, and eventually romantasy, in roughly that order. She still lives there, still reads everything she can get her hands on, and still cannot, for the life of her, get through a scene where the author mixes up English and Western tack like they're interchangeable or the horse is treated like a piece of furniture. This is allegedly why she started writing her own.
By day she works in design and web development, and has spent years illustrating comic books and graphic novels. By night she is held hostage by her family's demand for dinner, which is fine, because she firmly believes no meal is complete without a good sauce. She lives with her husband and two kids, who have collectively never once asked if the horses in this book are correctly saddled, and honestly, good for them.
